Riding in Cars with Boys

I think Jeremy will find these pics so funny. My friend Jennifer has two boys who are 2 and 4. Evan is 4 and has this really cool mustang. Aubrey just wanted to ride so bad and Evan wanted to go fast and was very upset when we told him he needed to go slow. Needless to say he went fast and Aubrey had mixed feelings. Hopefully this is the last time she will ever ride in a car with a boy:)

Hose Fun

Aubrey will often just get into her pool with all of her clothes off and she loves the hose when we set it to stay on. Let me tell you that it was ONLY 70 degrees out when this happened. Kids DONT CARE:)

Summer Days

Wow what are we doing lately? Well as you can see having an 18 month old is quite busy. She is all over the place and demands mommy's attention all the time. We have been doing some fun things this summer so far. We have went to the splash pad in Plymouth. We walk to the park often since we have two nice ones nearby. We have play dates with Lukie & Evan alot. Aubrey loves to be in charge and be in control. The doc says she has the cognitive abilities of a 2 year old because she is speaking in full sentences almost. We are working on her verbalizing what she needs/wants instead of screaming. She throws lots of tantrums and we have even started time out. She is a really good girl but is definitely starting the terrible twos early. She weighs 28.6 pounds and is eating everything. Some days she eats a ton and others she could care less. She is getting more into meat (Chicken, turkey, and even eats hamburgers!), She definitely wants momma over anyone else right now. She has nicknames for everyone.

She can make all of the animal noises and sings many songs including ba ba black sheep and the alphabet song. It really is amazing how much she knows. She does not go to bed early anymore. We have gotten into this habit of not falling asleep until the sun goes down. We still put her to be at 8:00. I am very insistent on a schedule even if she doesn't fall asleep right away I want to keep a consistent bedtime. She repeats everything. Well enough bragging...

Happy 4th Anniversary!!

I have to say I have the best husband in the world. I could go on and on about his love and what he does for our family each day. He is the reason I get up in the morning and AUBREY too!
