Catching Up

Sorry I havent posted in a long time. I have alot going on!! Aubrey is wonderful. She now has four teeth. We are gearing up for Halloween with lots of fun pumpkins and outfits. Her new word of the week is "HOT." Every time she sees food she says hot. I think Daddy freaked her out about touching hot food!! She has been extra cuddly lately and actually gives real kisses...well okay the kind with her mouth wide open, but anyways they melt our hearts! Tomorrow Aubrey will find out if she will have a new best friend or a new boyfriend:) Auntie Dominique and Uncle Paul (our good friends) find out what the gender of their babe is! Oh how I remember that day! Having a baby is life's greatest joy! I cant think of anything that makes me more happy! I think I'm getting ready for #2!! JUST KIDDING:)Actually this month is the first time I actually entertained the thought of another one! I am not quite ready yet...we are still enjoying the joys of Aubrey! Maybe by the time Aubrey is two?? Only time will tell. Have a great week! There are alot of pics! I just couldnt pick between those sweet smiles!

Dedication Day

Today was a beautiful day. Today Aubrey was dedicated at Northridge Church in Plymouth. It was a nice but chaotic service. There were 25 families who also dedicated their children. After the service we went for a wonderful dinner/get together at Grandma and Grandpa Wren’s house. The house looked perfect and all the food was wonderful. Thank you to all of my family who made things and helped me pull it together. It was a great day spent with family. It was so fun to see all the kids playing together outside. Now I’m on to planning the first birthday party. Too bad the weather won’t be as nice!

MI-LO

Today Aubrey learned to say Milo which is out cat’s name. She says it ALL THE TIME. It is so sweet. Now she is saying it whenever she sees either of the cats at home and ALL cats in books. They are all called MILO. She is much more fascinated with the cats than with the dog. I guess she is a cat girl!

Wow!!

I found this poem and it has really touched my heart. We are dedicatng Aubrey on Saturday. It seemed so fitting for the occasion:

A baby asked God, “They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?” God said, “Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.”

The child further inquired, “But tell me, here in heaven I don’t have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy.” God said, “Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel’s love and be very happy.”

Again the child asked, “And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don’t know the language?” God said, “Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.”

“And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?” the child asked. And God replied, “Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.”

“Who will protect me?” asked the child. God answered, “Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.”

“But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.” God said, “Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you.”

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, “God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel’s name.”

God said, “You will simply call her, “Mom.”

First Cider Mill Trip

We had a great Sunday afternoon. We took the girls to Plymouth Orchards. We visited the petting farm, went on a wagon ride, and picked pumpkins! Aubrey even had a little doughnut and loved it. Here are pictures from our day. I hope you are having a great week!
