Happy 9 Months My Love!!

Today we celebrated 9 months with a yummy dinner of avocado, cantaloupe, egg yolk, and carrots. That was followed by a eventful bath in which Aubrey said the words: "All Done" "Cat" "What" in response to daddy calling her name. Life just gets better everyday. She is all over the place and we are BUSY!! We are having some separation tears at daycare. It is very hard to leave her. Hopefully this will pass. She loves to crawl everywhere that she should not. Favorite places right now are the TV stand, the glass storm door, and the wine cabinet. She has learned to sit up in her crib (9-22-08) and is even kneeling on things to try to stand up. She says mama, Dada, cat, all done, what, and yes. I know you probably think I am crazy but the little precious talks a ton for her age!! I am amazed... She loves the book called The Touch and Feel Farm. She insists by crying and crawling toward it, that we read it every night many times. Here is a cute video of this fun nightly routine.

Something new every day!!

A few days a ago Aubrey started sitting up in her crib. So when we put her to bed now she sits up and starts clapping and having a good old time!! Oh the adventures to come. What I have noticed is that she always wants to be on the move---jumping out of our arms. Yesterday she went for her 9 month checkup. She weighs 24 lbs and is 29 inches. She is completely off the charts for both. Time for more people foods and self feeding. The best part is she got two shots and did NOT MAKE A PEEP!! How does that happen?? Oh and she tries to crawl out of the bathtub!! Enjoy your week!

On the MOVE!!!!!!!

Yes you heard it. Little miss Aubrey is officially crawling. Full out across the room crawling. This started officially on daddy's birthday September 17th. It is so much fun to watch her enjoy this new found Independence. Every time I think she can't possibly get any more fun---it just gets better!! Being a mom is an awesome thing!! For all you mom readers out there---What was your favorite milestone?? I think crawling has to be mine so far!! Here is a cute video of clapping. I have many more to come!

Long Time...

I know its been awhile. I am SO BUSY!! These past three weeks have been a whirlwind. Working full time and being a mom is hard. I am managing but I don't get extra time to do fun things like upload pics and video as much. I promise this weekend I will and I will post lots of new pics and some video. Enough about me. Our little darling is crawling...well almost. She gets around the room rather well and just this past weekend started getting on her knees and rocking. She isn't full out crawling yet but she is trying really hard. She is doing alot of scooting. I bet by this weekend she will be crawling. Well its off to bed for me. Look for more posts this weekend! By the way I think she has brown eyes for sure!! What do you think? At least she resembles me in SOME WAY:) Also look at those two teeth!!
