Long Time no Blog!!

Things are going well with us. It is busy, busy, busy around here. School is out in 3 weeks. HOORAY! Aubrey is 18.8 pounds!! She is so big and is at the top of the charts. She has had a stuffy nose for 8 weeks now so we are tyring to get to the bottom of that! She is starting to sit up well supported. She grabs at everything. it is so cute cause its a slow and concentrated grab! She LOVES Her jumperoo that she has figured it out. She isn't rolling yet, but I think it is because of her size. She cried when I leave the room sometimes which is so cute. Oh and did I mention everything goes into her mouth? She is drooling a ton and gets lots of shirts wet. She gave up the paci when I went back to work which is good. She has a "baby" that she sleeps with. It is this soft blanket animal. She loves to cuddle up with it at night!! It was given to her by my mom. It She laughs at me a lot! The best part of the day is going in to wake her up in the morning. She gives me the biggest smile and starts flapping her arms in excitement! What a great thing to get to wake up to every morning. Thank you God!!

Happy Mother's Day!!

I hope everyone had a great Mother's day! What a special day it was for me. The whole weekend was special. A year ago this weekend we found out we were pregnant. We actually told our family on Mother's Day 2007. Boy how things can change in a year. I love being a mom. Life feels so much different but in a wonderful way. I know we all have a purpose in life but ever since having her my purpose has become even clearer. I am a teacher, a daughter, a fiend, a wife, and now a mother!! What an important job. Jeremy made this mother's day so awesome for me. I didn't have to lift a finger as he cleaned, and cooked the whole day in preparation for our mother's day BBQ. I was able to relax and just hang out with Aubrey. Thanks honey:) Aubrey is growing so much by the day. She is almost 18 pounds!! She is eating baby food and cereal about twice a day and she loves it. She loves every type of food she tries. She starts getting mad if we don't spoon it in FAST enough. Her newest thing is squealing with delight. She talks and squeals and boy is it loud!! She has discovered that she has a voice. She is just the best thing that has happened to me. What a miracle and she makes me happy to get up every morning. I never knew what people meant when they said "It so only a love you will understand if you are a mom" They are so right. you just cant describe it. Okay so I got really mushy---but I am so thankful to have been given this gift from God. Happy Mother's day to all the Mommy's out there!

Four Months!!!

Wow four months!! Well little miss is 16 pounds 13 ounces. She is 25 1/4 inches tall. She is such a sweet little thing and I get more attached each day. She is laughing and smiling and talking all the time!! She is really starting to recognize us and she knows when we walk out of the room. She has a little personality. She even has a very shy side to her. She's started solids and is eating rice cereal once a day. We are just so in love and cant imagine life without her!! I cant believe God gave me this beautiful gift. What a blessing that I get to see her grow up and spend my life with her!!
